I just discovered that another sample chapter of my book, this time the chapter on Flash Video, has been made available by the publisher.

The book is “Macromedia Flash 8 Advanced: Visual QuickPro Guide” (Peachpit Press), by Russell Chun and me.

The chapter is chapter 2, “Working with Video.” It covers converting video to FLV format (in depth), adding Flash elements/overlays/controls to a video, and rotoscoping with Flash video.

The chapter has been released as part of the sample eBook Library that Adobe has released in conjunction with the beta preview of the Adobe Digital Editions eBook reader. You can download the chapter from the Sample eBook Library page (you may need to install the reader first — I’m not sure since I had already installed it before I went to the library page).

I want to learn flash also in a more complex but easy to use. User friendly and I want also to have formal education with the multimedia using flash. I was able to attend short term course in flash but the school did not guarantee that I will learn faster and easier. Show me more techniques please.
    Thanks a lot
