<!--%kramer-pre%-->getting to read an actual book on Flex/AS3 and I got myself a copy. Like most O’Reilly books this book is also being sold as a low price edition in India which is good ’cause I did not have to shell out half a month’s rent to get it. The goodness and usefulness of this book is already well established so I’m just gonna say its awesome and I simply love it. What I would like to do here is to give a shout out to the authors Joey, Darron, Kieth<!--%kramer-post%-->

<!--%kramer-pre%--> has a great post that answers what does this all mean to me. Overall, I’m really excited about this, but I’m left with a question. With Apollo using WebKit (and JavaScriptCore), will Apple’s WebKit project adopt AVM2 too? Paul Robertson has a nice link round up too. November 7th, 2006 | No Comments | Posted in JavaScript, ActionScript <!--%kramer-post%-->

<!--%kramer-pre%-->the standalone Flash Player (such as a Flash projector file running on a CD-ROM) doesn’t work if the user has Firefox set as their default browser.
<!--%kramer-pre%--> Ever wanted to see the flex behind your flash forms (say that 10 times fast!) ? I inadvertantly learned of a great little trick over at Paul Robertsons Blog to do just that. It’s actually quite simple. After building your flash form, simply dump the form variable to the page.
<!--%kramer-pre%-->Read a good bit today about the type checking in ActionScript 3.0. It appears that Adobe is going the dynamic/run-time type checking route with this new version, more in line with the trend in “scripting” languages. Paul Robertson has decided that’s cool as long as we all make a habit of unit testing.<!--%kramer-post%-->
