getting to read an actual book on Flex/AS3 and I got myself a copy. Like most O’Reilly books this book is also being sold as a low price edition in India which is good ’cause I did not have to shell out half a month’s rent to get it. The goodness and usefulness of this book is already well established so I’m just gonna say its awesome and I simply love it. Read a good bit today about the type checking in ActionScript 3.0. It appears that Adobe is going the dynamic/run-time type checking route with this new version, more in line with the trend in “scripting” languages. Paul Robertson has decided that’s cool as long as we all make a habit of unit testing.
