You bring up some good points, aside from the great show you metioned. ;)

At MAX, I attended a presentation that was co-give by a designer friend of mine, Christian Robertson. We sorta discussed this from the designer angle, i.e. how do you get pixel perfect design when your app runs on several different sized screens. It's an interesting issue for sure, that we'll all be tacking.

It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one wrestling with these ideas. I work in an e-learning company and we are at the beginning of implementing a mobile version of our web based Flash platform. I'm struggling with what previous functionality to keep and what new ideas from the mobile space to integrate. We're going to lose and gain at the same time. In the end this isn't a new problem,we went from books to the web, but I'd love to see Adobe present case studies in this area.
