I 'm in the same situation of david, I've tried to figure out the formulas for advanced coordinate rotation but it seems to be too damn abstract, if anybody understand those or knows where to find the explanation, please email me to: lkkl0@yahoo.com

Thank you

I enjoyed your review and agree by and large. I am half-way through the book and I've understood everything up to this point thanks to Peters' concise and well organized teaching style. I have come to a wall however, in chapter 10, pg. 213. Up to this point, he has consistently shown why formulas work and how they operate. However, he plainly admits here that his understanding of advanced coordinate rotation is less than perfect (he states that his understanding of the workings of the formula has a life-span of about 30 minutes). This is a funny honest admission that I can respect. However, I feel a little betrayed. I want to understand these concepts as best I can, not just memorize formulas and take them on faith.
Sorry for the long post. I really like this book and want to press on. If anyone has suggestions for supplemental reading, I'd greatly appreciate an
